Our Story

Why this foundation exists

At Celebrations Speech Group, our work has always been about more than therapy sessions. It is about walking alongside people as they learn to communicate, build confidence, and connect with the people in their lives.

Over the years, we celebrated countless milestones with the families we serve. We also watched what happened when life took an unexpected turn. A parent loses a job. Insurance coverage ends. A diagnosis brings new costs. Suddenly therapy, the consistent weekly work that took years to build, is at risk of stopping.

Our team felt that loss alongside every family who experienced it. We knew we could not solve every challenge. But we could refuse to let finances be the reason someone stopped progressing.

That is why the Celebrations Speech Group Foundation was created. The foundation provides temporary financial assistance so individuals with diverse abilities can keep their therapy without interruption, and keep moving forward.

Our Founding

Founded by a therapy team. Independent by design.

The Celebrations Speech Group Foundation was founded by the team at Celebrations Speech Group, a therapy provider serving families across Brentwood, Stockton, Elk Grove, and the surrounding communities. We watched the families we served face real obstacles to staying in care, and we created the foundation to do something about it.

While we share a name and a commitment to the people we serve, the foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization with its own board of directors and a formal conflict-of-interest policy. Funding decisions are made in the best interest of applicants, guided by our charitable mission and reviewed by our independent leadership.
